Following the events of De De Pyaar De, 52-year-old London-based NRI investor Ashish Mehra decides to meet his much younger 26-year-old girlfriend Ayesha Khurana's family to get their approval, after having previously received his own family's approval. However, when he meets her family, what follows is a case of hilarious one-upmanship between her father Rajji and Ashish, who is even older than Rajji, creating awkward situations among the two families. As Ayesha introduces Aashish to her parents as a slightly older person who is also divorced. Ashish starts feeling awkward and asks Ayesha to reveal to her parents that he and her father are almost the same age, to which Ayesha flatly refuses.
